Katana is one of our favorites! Excellent Asian fusion with great sushi, and very well priced. Lunch specials are unbeatable, and the Katana sauce is nice with a little spice...

Love Katana ! They’re food is top notch and so fresh. I also fell in love with they’re sushi. If you’re looking for a reasonable Japanese place to eat Katana should be your next stop. I drive from Charlotte, NC just to enjoy they’re food. Definitely wish they would have a location in Charlotte. However, I enjoy this place !

Located at the end of a small row of shops. Windows dark, can't see thru. Open door and there is no welcome Asian atmosphere, very generic. Nothing on walls, no music. White balls, pine panel wainscoting. Steel chairs and brown booths, concrete floors.When I ordered water to drink the waiter was clearly unhappy. Ordered one of the bowl dishes expecting one of those large soup bowls. No soup but mixed vegetables, noodles and chicken. It was good but chicken was dry. The house salad was just chopped lettuce with a generous portion of ginger dressing. The sushi was really good. Only real restaurant open within a few blocks, everything else was fast food so not a lot of choices. No dessert options. Staff was very friendly to returning customers but left me alone. Never refilled my drink.

Katana is amazing! I am an avid sushi eater, and there's no better place in Salisbury to get exactly what you want than Katana. I love that they have petite plates for those who want smaller portions. I usually get that plate when I order sushi. Their specialty rolls are great, as well as their spring rolls and chicken lettuce wraps. My 8 &10 year olds love them.

I used to eat there in the summer, and it was always until today. They served me spoiled rice. Called them to tell them about it and they just said “oh next time you come will give you 20% discount” didn’t even denied it or said to bring it back will make you a fresh one. well I don’t think there will be a next time. I know times are rough but you shouldn’t be serving old spoiled food to customers. It’s nasty, unhealthy, and not good to the people and business!

I let my 5 year old granddaughter pick anywhere she wanted to go to eat for her birthday. This is where she picked. That was very impressive to me. We love the food and the service!

Never wait long for a seat even with seven people. Excellent food great waiters. Excellent chefs a real gem.

I eat katana all the time and they are so yummy! But I really get irritated with the TAKE OUT. I order my food wait an hour for pickup and it still isn't ready when I get there at my "estimated time of arrival". I understand sushi takes a while to make, do not get me wrong but after waiting an hour and then some when I arrive and I get my food and my bag is still missing items I get heated. I always pay extra for my sauces and sides and most of the time I NEVER GET THEM. I always pull to the side and check my bag before I leave, and after realizing items are missing I have to pull back around and wait in line just to get the sauces and extras that I paid for. I just picked up food that shows they had sauce in my container and then took it out and its not even in the bag... WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT. Dine in is always great but take out needs some work. Guess I gotta eat dry rice now cause I'm not waiting in line again.

The steak was not good it had a burnt taste to the meat and vegetables

Called our order in, it was ready for pick up within 10 to 15 mins which is great timing when we order 3 meals and a appetizer. The food was like it always is wonderful. They have great food and almost every time we go to Salisbury we stop in at Katana! The price is right on for the amount and taste of the food. Only negative thing i have to say is they really need to get call waiting or more people answering the phones. The phone line was busy for the first 10 mins of calling. After 5 tries we finally got through to place our order.

This place was amazing. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We went for lunch and many times a lunch shift can be slower but they were on top of it. Food came out super quick and the server was very personable. I would absolutely come back here.

Great food! Large portions! Great prices! We live in Nebraska, but when we visit Salisbury, NC several times a year, we always stop here to eat!

Without a doubt the best Japanese food I have ever eat. Stopped in to pickup Lunch to go and was not dissapointed! Sweet carrots, mixed vegetables, shrimp sauce, chicken, ......everything was perfect.

Best place in Salisbury. Between the service , atmosphere and the food you can't go wrong. The chicken lettuce wrap and the ninja for two katana style was amazing.

Never had any problems when eating here or to go. Food is always delicious! Just had the Shrimp and Scallops with Mixed Vegetables..⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Placed a pick-up order, the order was available on time, but the food quality was not what it used to be. Ordered katana sauce and received a strange bbq flavored hybrid. Was also missing one thing off of my order, which could have been over looked if the quality had been better. Also all of the fried items were super dark and most likely refried from the suggested mush within. Sorely disappointed and regretful that they were unable to maintain their quality.

Went a couple weeks for my first time and it definitely will be my last. Food smelled wonderful but looked like it was just thrown in our to go plates. Definitely looked nothing like the hibachi I’ve eaten and many other places. I ordered chicken/shrimp hibachi, crab salad and shrimp tempura roll. I don’t know if the food was bad, old or prepared bad but I was sick for days after consuming and it wasn’t good so I didn’t consume that much of it.

My go to spot for great Japanese in town. They have a drive thru. Really quick at getting your plates to the table. Sushi is fresh. Great wait staff. Try the Katana sauce!

Nice place to go if your in the area! Great Food and Great Prices! Sushi was amazing and the lunch dish was a good portion.
